Flinders Quartet has been the vanguard of an extraordinary awakening of chamber music in this country. Their commitment to bringing the joy of chamber music to as many people as possible manifested in the inaugural 3MBS Melbourne Chamber Music Feast bringing together 10 Melbourne ensembles in one weekend.
Building on their Limelight Award, APRA Award and Melbourne Prize nominations, Flinders Quartet has also initiated the Melbourne Youth Orchestra String Quartet program. In 2009 we are excited to launch our first Sydney subscription series. Be inspired by the Flinders Quartet’s love and joy of the string quartet literature.
