Add another indelible impression about the Song Company’s performances to your memory. Join us for the conclusion of our Tenebrae trilogy which left impressive memories with audiences in 2005 and 2006 already.
Directed by Shaun Parker, who took part in Tenebrae I and II as a dancer, the third part promises to be challenging and powerful. Based on the Responsories for Holy Week by famed 17th century composer Carlo Gesualdo the artists will explore universal themes of humanity, sacrifice and death.
The performance will take place at the modern, industrial spaces of CarriageWorks which, in the hands of Artistic Director Roland Peelman, provides the perfect setting for the contemporary take on Gesualdo’s composition.
