“12 Days of Christmas” opened in Bathurst’s All Saints Cathedral on 29 November to a rapturous reception! This Christmas program lasts for just over an hour and is thoroughly entertaining, witty, and suitable for kids. There are moments where you will be in awe at the beauty of the sound (especially during “We Three Kings”) and others where you will be laughing uncontrollably.
The concert is based around the song “Twelve Days of Christmas” and each day is explored with a new song (or set of songs) or skit. The actual songs come from anywhere between the 15th and 20th Centuries, both sacred and secular, some quirky, some divine – a beautiful way to start the Christmas season!
