Also planned for next year is our biannual Modart series, which will involve young and developing composers from Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, and we’re also planning another concert to feature new works by younger established or emerging composers only – we’ll keep you up to date as they come around!

Singer Focus – Anna Fraser
In the beginning I was actually asked by Roland to come and sing for the group on the recommendation of Nicole Thomson. I had never approached the ensemble previously to request an audition as I had never considered I’d work for such a high-calibre vocal ensemble on a full time basis, as I had been pursing solo vocal work. I didn’t know a great deal about the ensemble initially and only realised the pace of the work and scope of the programs the Company presents when I had been presented with 2 hours of contrasting repertoire to prepare for the 2 auditions I was asked to sing at. A daunting task but a worthy challenge!
