Richard began vocal studies as a young science student in Adelaide and he became a member of the acclaimed Adelaide Chamber Singers. He moved to Sydney in 1994 and juggled his musical pursuits alongside scientific interests. Richard joined the group in 2002 and is also active with the choir of St James’ Church, Australian Chamber Orchestra Voices and Cantillation as well as his own ensemble, Renaissance Men. He notably performed in the Australian premiere of Arvo Pärt’s Stabat Mater and a great deal of Baroque productions over the past few years.
