Clive graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and the National Opera Studio in London and subsequently worked with Glyndebourne Festival Opera. He arrived in Australia in 1988 and joined The Song Company in1989, making him the longest-serving member of the group. In addition he has sung for The Australian Opera, Sydney Philharmonia and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s production of Lulu. He notably took part in the premiere production of Black River as well as the feature film, which went on to with the Grand Prix for Opera at the Paris Film Festival.
